Realier-Dumas was born and raised in Paris. He produced posters only occasionally, his work is distinctive for its use of clean lines, solid areas of color, and a restrained, uncluttered style. Artistic influence appeared to come from ancient Greek pottery. The small number of designs he created often depict graceful women with long, slender figures.
