This PALAIS DU TROCADERO poster by Jules Chéret was issued in two versions. This example is without the full lettering which would later appear at the bottom: "FETE DE CHARITE, donne au benefice de la Societe de Secours aux familles des MARINS NAUFRAGES" (CHARITY FESTIVAL, given for the benefit of the Society of Relief of the families of MARINE SHIPWRECKS).
